I was looking to purchase a new home. Nowadays, we look to the government for tax credits, incentive programs, money back deals or part of the closing costs included. I make too much money to get any kind of breaks and not enough to afford a home comfortably without being very frugal. So, I saved. I saved for 20 years.
I went to apply for the First-Time Home buyer tax credit, but guess what, it expired. Can’t do that either. Not only that, but if you want to buy a home for investments purposes, this won’t work for you either. See CNN’s story on that one:

But my point is, there are complications to it. Too many scenarios. Where is the nice “get some money back” without the “if this”, “then that”, or “else, but if it is the second Tuesday of the month, it is void”. Right?
There are new home rebates from the builders offered in almost every state of the USA. But what was the best one for me. You can see a list by cities here: http://bit.ly/f4GLwF
In searching Google, I found many websites that offered this Rebate on new home sales. But, it was offered from a builder not in my area. Or, a website that offered a listing, but I had to use their “agent”. Or, I had to pay money to access the list. Basically, none of the options worked for me. I didn’t feel comfortable with any of them. By the way, this is a home I am buying, not just a house. I have saved for this and it sure would be nice to get some sort of credit or money back for saving my money and financing very little.
I did find www.NewHomesAmerica.com with a builders list. These builders participate in the rebate program. It offers 1.25 percent on the purchase price of the home. To give you an idea how much that is because I am bad with math, here it is:
$500,000 -> $6,250
$400,000 -> $5,000
$300,000 ->$3,750

Not only that, if there is builder in your area that does not participate, you have a way of getting that builder to participate. Everybody wins because you may have used that builder anyway, so why not get some money back. And thousands of dollars.
What this gentleman did, was create this website where he wrote and continues to write new home builders throughout the United States. Most will sign up and become participating builders. Some may not answer, BUT, when a potential buyer asks the builder through the website, they agree, 98 percent of the time. You have more weight as a buyer sometimes.

The time is right for this. Because overall sales have gone down, builders are more willing to provide rebates. And sometimes, you can get them through the individual builder. That’s a lot of work for us home buyers. Finding, hunting and hoping we will find the right builder and no tricks. I don’t want to use their agent. So, you cut out the middleman.

Just like any other business, if you deal direct with the builder, you save money. The owner of www.NewHomesAmerica.com did all the work for us. There is nothing to lose the way I see it. I have registered and in the process of buying my home using this website. A family member did it, that’s how I found out, and he got $7,450.00 dollars back within 2 weeks. (we had a holiday, so it may have been faster).

The important thing is, you go to the site, register, and then make an appointment with the builder through the website. When you purchase the home, www.NewHomesAmerica.com will send a Visa Gift Card worth the 1.25 percent of the home price.

My first question was, can I get it at closing? Maybe pay for part of the house or closing costs. The answer is no. Sorry, but for legal reasons, it can’t be done. If you see anyone that says they can, run!!! This website is one of the more successful ones. It was carefully crafted by a successful CEO in semi-retirement. I spoke to David and he explained how he came up with the idea and what can and can’t be done.
Be careful of builders themselves. I found this one report. Seems they are not regulated with much scrutiny.

Anyway, a home purchase is a big deal. Even if you are not a new home person and looking for a used home. Well, there are both sides to that argument too. Just like would you rather have a used car or a new car. Same applies. A new home, new appliances, and best of all, no worries for a decade or two unless there is an act of God.
Nothing like the smell of new home. You get to pick the color, the floor type and so on. Very exciting if you have never done it before. iNeedHits.com is a rip off

Check out a few sources. Basically, since 2007 they have been ripping people off. The say there is LIVE support, there IS NOT

They say they are in Texas, but you will get an extra charge on your credit card for forgein charges per transactions.

Ineedhits.com is one of the worst rip off I have seen in awhile. And, how they can continue, I don’t know. Probably because they are not under our laws. Have your credit card dispute the charges. It’s the only way you will stop them from billing you.

High Rankings in Google

Hi everyone,

I like Google but, we had an issue. Now resolved, but this could happen to you.

As a webmaster of many websites, I see my ranking change when changes it’s algorithm. This is the criteria used to decide who has been value. In my AdWords account for a site called DiscountWatchesUSA.com, my ad was running just fine for months. Then in late July and August, I received all lows scores for my keywords. No matter what keyword I used, Google put a low quality score and ad will not be shown. Now, I sell watches. Even “watches” would not show.

The cause, poor landing page quality. But here is the deal, I sell watches. My content is watches. They are discounted. I have the brands listed and for 6 months my site has been fine. I knew Google wants to see more content, but hey, I am an e-commerce website. I shouldn’t have to write articles about the history of watches. I shouldn’t have to show 100 watches on page instead of 25 because it will show more watches and increases the content. Why do I have make my site bad, so Google will deem it worthy?

So, I write Google. I get these canned messages for weeks. In frustration, I tell them as a paying customer, AdWords cost money, so I expect some customer service. I went through these laborious FAQs, Help, which never answered my question. What changed?

Finally, I had a person that responded to my issue with DiscountWatchesUSA.com. I read all the criteria for landing page quality, but the deal was, it was no different that day, than it was in January. So, why is it not showing?

On top of that. I had several landing pages. You know you can add keywords with a spreadsheet and specify keyword to URL (landing page). So which landing page? It did not make sense. Soon, it was mystery fixed. All is back to normal. I ask why, and they can’t answer it.

So, I was down for 6 weeks because:

* I couldn’t get a hold of a person
* I couldn’t even get to a form with a comment box
* I received responses that were canned and just told me to read the FAQ
* They never did answer the question as to why
* I never did get an apology
* I was left with feeling very uncertain about Google.

As side from PPC (Pay Per Clicks), you really can do this for free. Or, hire a consultant that should not charge alot since most of this might be a type of grunt work. Depending on your site, a webstore, blog, showcasing your work, informative and so on, depends on how you want to market your site and which methods are best. Backlinks, PPC, Keywords, Rankings, all these words. It can be confusing. You can watch all these videos and use some common sense, but it is not enough. As you look at the site, you say to yourself, nothing special. But ah, there are a number of aspects going on behind the scenes that each week, I will go over the topics that made this site rise to stardom so quickly.

First, let me say, if you hear from a business that they can get your site in the top 10 listing on a Google search, BEWARE. Anybody can do that if you use the right keywords. For example, www.DiscountWatchesUSA.com, if you type Discount Watches, it shows on page 3, if you type Discount Watches USA, it IS on PAGE ONE of Google. Yipppee, wonderful, right? No, you guess it, who is going to type in the USA part. Maybe some if they don’t want to advocate buying from the U.S. but by and large, it will be keywords like, buy discount watches, buy cheap Seiko watches, lowest price watches, men’s watches, cheap watches, free shipping watches and so on. You get my point.

Here’s why even with it almost impossible for your new site to be in the first page of a Google, Yahoo or Bing search is simply the time it takes to register the url and the Search Engine (Google) to crawl your site. This could be monthly, weekly and so on. There is a chance that Google was coming around at the time you registered. It is possible. But that still doesn’t get you at the top with keywords that make sense. So beware.

The other item worth noting is, yes, you can get on the first page by paying money. Well, we all knew that. For example, again, type in Discount Watches USA on a Google search. Look to the right and the very top where the ads have a lightly shaded background. These are paid ads, most likely paying a heafty 10.00 per click. We will get into that when we go over paid advertising. Suffice to say, money talks and it will get you there, but unless you are Macy’s, Sears or a larger company with a larger advertising budget, more likely .10 cents a click is affordable, but your ad will be on page 20 so why bother. You have to find the sweet spot.
